How many countries did Genghis Khan capture, why?
Genghis Khan conquored some of Asia, China, and a little of Europe, after he died th empire extented to other places. Genghis Khan was so ruthless, and had such ruthless tactics that invading and capturing a country wasn't as hard. He captured so many countries because he wanted more territory for the empire and himself.
Why was Genghis Khan portrayed as ruthless, and bloodthirsty?
The truth is most people portrayed him as bloodthirsty because he was so ruthless, but he wasn't really thirsting for blood. He was like all other conquerors who wanted power, territory, and wealth, he just used bloodthirsty and ruthless tactics. So he wasn't actually bloodthirsty it just seemed like it, but don't get me wrong he was ruthless, and used some pretty horrible tactics.
What were Genghis Khan's acheivements, what were one of his biggest?
Some of his acheivements were that he united nomadic tribes, plus he invaded and conqeured most of Asia/Europe. His empire lasted 150 years, that's a pretty long time, and after he died the empire still stretched. Soon though after he died the empire collapsed and seperated, but one of his biggest acheivements was conquering China.
Why did Genghis Khan invade China
After he united the Mongolian empire he wanted power, territory, and wealth. So as soon as he was chosen leader he wanted his troops to prepare for the invasion. (That's kind of weird considering China is soooooo big.) So a little while later they attacked China, the war lasted for 35 years, (can you imagine fighting for 35 years, that's way to long for me.) But finally after 35 years Ghengis Khan won the battle, and get this, even after he died his empire still stretched, that's pretty cool.
